Description: This is a 1920's Leedy 5x14 snare drum. Solid (1 ply) walnut shell with re-rings. Nickel hardware- 8 lugs, slotted T-rods with clips, Presto strainer. Brass stick chopper hoops. Leedy stamp on top hoop and throw-off. Metal ring for a drum sling.Drum is in very clean condition.Shell has been re-finished. All hardware looks to be original to the drum. The hoop clips look good with no visible cracks. Throw-off works smooth, but has limited range of motion. Modern heads fit with no issues.Modern Remo heads top and bottom with modern wires.
