Description: A chemical company established in St Louis in C1898 by Herman C G Luyties, son of Herman Luyties the famous homeopathic chemist. The Sanitol Chemical Laboratory Company was created to manufacture an antiseptic dentifrice but moved into mainstream production of toilet preparations in the early 1900s. This box is in medium condition. Some light soiling. I cannot open the box without possibly damaging it, so I am unable to show or tell you the condition of the seal. It is heavy enough to say it still contains powder. This powder box is from the early 1900’s. So considering that, it is in good condition. This is a rare face powder box. I am selling my powder box collection so keep an eye out for my listings. Measurements: 3” x 1.5”
