Description: BELIEVED TO BE A VINTAGE 1924 POSTCARD OF HOLLAND-AMERICA'S OCEAN LINER / PASSENGER SHIP SS STATENDAM. THIS CARD HAS IT LABELED AS DD STATENDAM WHICH WOULD INDICATE ONE OF TWO THINGS ... THE SHIP BECAME A DESTROYER DURING WWII OR THE DD INDICATES A SHIP IN DRY DOCK. NOT POSITIVE WHICH HERE. IT IS KNOWN THAT THE SHIP WAS BURNT IN 1940 SO AS TO AVOID ITS CAPTURE BY GERMANY. We ship weekdays with the exception of US federal holidays. We will ship with either free shipping or calculated shipping ... it depends on the given scenario.
