Description: Vintage figural metal table lighter and cigarette box in the shape of a 1933 Rolls Royce, made in Japan in the 1950's. This large antique auto is meticulously detailed in a spelter metal with a silver/bronze finish. The top of the car comes off revealing a 3.75" by 2" space inside for cigarettes. The lighter is in back and easily lifts out of its cradle for refueling - right now it's empty - and its bottom is marked "JAPAN". The underside of the car is embossed "ROLLS ROYCE - 1933" and off to the side it's embossed "JAPAN" with the winged globe logo which I think identifies this as Occupied Japan. It also says PAT. PEND.The Car measures about 3" tall by 9" across by 3.5" wide, and weighs about 2.5 lbs.A terrific old figural smoking set for your tobaccoana or Rolls Royce collection.
