Description: Vintage Chinese Bakelite Set 152 Tiles This vintage Chinese Bakelite set was hand carved and hand painted, imported from Asia for the American market. It is NMJL really with 152 tiles. The set is in remarkable condition given the age. I place the set between the late 1930's and early 1940's. The set features a standing pheasant one bam. Each dragon has its own individualized graphic for easy recognition. The set also had extra flowers to use as jokers. All tiles are original to the set. This is a regular thickness Bakelite set. So the tiles fits in the racks like normal. The tiles are complemented with four vintage green racks with metal ends from the same era. The tiles really look amazing next to the green swirled racks. The case is in fair condition with working latch locks and handle.
