It has 6 strings. It seems to be from the late 1940s. The Rickenbacker logo is Rickenbacher. Status: There are scratches, feeling of use, and overall cigarette tar (I did remove some of the tar, but not completely). We are replacing 2 pots with CTS. There is no Gari. There are a few places where the shaft of the peg is slightly bent, but there is no problem in tuning. I can't turn the screw on the square metal panel in the center of the body, so I can't remove it. It is tightened hard and the threads are about to be scraped. The fingerboard line is shaved or missing. The screw hole for attaching the control panel is damaged and has been redone with putty.
