Description: This 1947 Eastern United States wall road map was issued by the Standard Oil Company of Kentucky (KYSO). This is a large wall map for display on a station’s wall and measures about 32” x 40”. The date code on the map is “447.” Since this map was not given out to the public, it is rather scarce. This map is in excellent original condition as shown in the photo and came from the General Drafting Map Company archives. I was fortunate to locate and buy several boxes of archival maps from the General Drafting Map Company after they were bought out by Langenscheidt and absorbed into the American Map Company. There is a wide variety of maps types and all are like new.
