Description: This hand stitched butterfly quilt measures about 70x80 in, blocks have contributors names, these names as near as I can tell are as follows: Jesse Ellis, Beulah Bohn, Ruby Hart., Myrl Condit, Edith Taliaferro, Margaret sanford, Bell west, 1948, Lizzie conard, Leota board, Faye Thomas,May Tallman, Virginia Lamb, Wilma Taliaferro, Leafie McClelland, Emma Wilgrave, Marjorie Pope, "Lend a Hand", Ethel greenwood, Pauline Coble, Faye Henderson,Avalon Peebles, Laura Peebles, Wilma Crismas?, Mrs Hilda Hodges?, Blanche cobble, Carrie m smith, Mrs Trudy, Edna reed, Anna Frudy, Ethel tucker, mabel, Joan hayes Quilt is in very good condition however it looks like the sides were never finished, top and bottom are finished. A couple of minor stains, dark spots I did not try to remove. Each block has a different color butterfly which has been appliced and the makers signature embroidered on the bottom.
