Description: Vintage 1950's Bates Full Queen George Washington Hobnail Chenille Reversible Bedspread This bedspread is very well taken care of with no flaws seen on it. It dates back to the 1950's as one of the 1st designed bedspreads, made by Bates, to replicate the bedspread George Washington gave to his wife, on their wedding day. I obtained this from an estate sale and can only assume it was a wedding present or heirloom passed down. It is off-white in color as can be seen next to the white accents on bed. This is pictured on a Queen bed, but could be used on a full bed as well. It is approximately 98 x 109 WITHOUT taking the fringe into measurement. Fringe is an additional ~4". It has fringe on 3 sides and has a flat hem at the top of the bedspread. This is a heavy bedspread and very well made. Would be perfect for your air BNB, shabby chic, vintage, cottage room decor.
