Description: Up for sale is this Evans junior tricycle. From the research that I have done and a prominent bicycle repair shop owner in Minneapolis, this tricycle was produced between 1958 and 1962. NOTE: The 5th & 7th photos are the hubcaps for the trike. They should have been put on the trike when the rest of the photos were taken. I forgot until I had boxed the trike for shipping..As you can see from the photos the trike is in overall very good condition for its age. It has been thoroughly cleaned. As a result, most of the rust has been removed too. The entire trike has been coated with Fluid Film. A non-toxic rust and corrosion preventative. The Fluid Film can be fairly easy to remove if a restoration is planned. Remarkably the Evans sticker is still intact. Also, the original Evans handlebar grips are in excellent condition. The both have the “Evans” name embossed on the grips. The front of the fender is dented. All spokes on the wheels are in tact with only minimal rust. The tires show use but they are not split or cracked anywhere. The plastic pedals are also in pretty good overall condition. A few chips and plenty of scratches but still sound. The front wheel measures 9 1/2 in. The seat measures 8 in. wide by 8 1.2 deep. The back platform measures 15 in. wide by 5 in. wide in the middle. The pedals measure 3 in. by 2 3/8 in. The full width of the back of the trike (the wheels) is 19 in. The width of the handlebars is 16 1/2 in. The front height, up to where the handlebar is inserted is 15 in.
