Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Vintage large skull candle. The lady I purchased this from says she remembers it as a child in the early 1970s. So it probably dates to the 1960s or early 1970s. Unused heavy old candle. The large skull is brown in color and for a candle has a great patina. It has nice detail. The wick is unused, of course, and has discolored from age to a light brown color from its bright white it was when new. The Skull candle has 2 letters on the bottom that I cannot make out. The candle weighs over 3 lbs. It is just under 6" tall, about 6" deep, and about 4 1/2" wide. Condition is fair to good for age. Unused condition. There are scuffs, chips, and dings on candle from age. Color of wax goes from dark brown to black from age. Wick is a light brown color from age. Just a real cool unused survivor. That is why ALL of the items purchased require insurance. In the unlikely event an item is damaged or lost by the mail/shipper we will work with you to help you file your claim, but the settlement will be between you and the carrier.
