Description: Vintage 1971 Mattel Barbie Magnificent Midi #3418 Tagged VHTF. Red velvet maxi length coat with black furry trim, sleeveless mini dress with black ribbed bodice and velvet skirt, red velvet hat with black fur trim, and black vinyl boots with furry trim, vintage 1970s Barbie doll outfit, hard to find set with condition issues This is the midi red velveteen coat with black cord at collar and black faux fur at the hem and six gilt buttons attached with black vinyl toggle-like fasteners down the front for closure. The Barbie tag at inner neck is slightly frayed. All gold-tone bead buttons are intact and shiny; all vinyl fasteners are present. Not cut. Red velveteen hat has rubs or lighter on back. Dress has a spot on the back. Belt and buckle intact. Ribbing of the black top may have a small fray at the neck? The boots are soft with thread intact. Fur may be flat because of laying on a board in plastic for some years. No rips Very good vintage used condition. The nature of the velveteen material comes with minor rub or wear marks from play and handling and such marks are present on the item. There seems to be fuzz on the red parts. The fur trim is nicely preserved. Beautiful piece even with the issues on the back of dress and hat. should be hidden on display? Nice addition to your collection. Actual item you'll receive. I do not know how this was stored or the condition in which this item was kept or odors or animals it could have been exposed to prior to my purchase.
