Description: Next for sale is a stunning 1971, Omega Constellation, Chronometer officially certified, Automatic Mens Watch, 154.0002 with a beautiful brushed Silver dial The watch was manufactured in 1971 and houses the Omega cal 1001 Automatic movement with hacking. Its fully working and keeping great time (-15 seconds per day approx) The watch is completely original and untouched, and comes on a new Black Leather strap that pairs nicely. The brushed Silver dial is still stunning and as you can see has a beautiful effect. The Silver hands and baton hour markers follow suit and have some lovely Black applied detail that gives nice contrast against the dial. There's some patina to the top right hand side and on the left edge but looks superb. The "Swiss made" logo is at the bottom of the dial. These Omega watches have a timeless design that are still hugely popular today. It's a really is a gorgeous piece and looks absolutely stunning on the wrist. The glass Omega crystal is superb with very little wear. No major scratches and looks clean. The stainless steel case is unpolished so has some usual vintage wear but superb overall. Omega logo still prominent on the crown. The watch houses the Omega 1001 Automatic Calibre movement and as you can see looks superb. These were a real work of art. The quickset date function is working perfectly also. Pull the crown out to first position and turn anticlockwise or clockwise to change. Winding perfectly with great reserve and keeping great time. I fully wound by a real good shake and was able to manually wind as the movement is hackable. A good wind of the crown gets it going nicely. A lovely example for its age and looks stunning on the wrist. Functionality: Working and keeping great time Keeping approx -15 seconds per day) Movement: This is an Omega 1001 Automatic movement.
