Description: Vintage 1978 COMPLETE Battleship " Combine Strategy and Luck in this Exciting Naval Action Game " Milton Bradley # 4730 Made in the USA 2 Players READ FULL DESCRIPTION for DETAILS This Battleship Game is COMPLETE and in Very Good Condition. It includes the following: 1. The Original Box: In very good condition, structurally sound, no tears and all corners and seams intact. There is very little shelf wear and there is some age spots/yellowing/ discoloration, blemishes.The original orange Toys R Us price sticker is on the front, top left. Contains the original cardboard inserts which separate the two plastic game kit cases. 2. Instructions are printed under the top of the front cover. 3. Rare Advertising Flyer for Electronic Battleship Game which Milton Bradley just released at the time and a flyer was included in this version to promote the new game. 4. (2) Blue Plastic Game Kits--Both in very good condition with some wear/ light scratches to the outside. The inside of each kit is fantastic, shiny grids and clean graphics. Structurally sound, hinges intact, strong. Please contact me for more close-up photos of game kit cases if needed. 5. Each kit contains: 5 Ships (10 Total-- 2 of each--carrier, battleship, cruiser, submarine & destroyer) 84 White Pegs ( 168 Total) 42 Red Pegs (84 Total) The factory plastic "runners" that originally held the ships and pegs which first players remove to play are also in the box--just fun to see what they originally came on. Also makes me believe this set was not played much. All of my listings are from my own personal lifetime collections from childhood items and adult collector toy shows. I've had this set for over 25 years and it has been stored in a cabinet in a smoke-free, pet free household. It was purchased at a toy show--I do not know its history from 1978-1999.
