Description: This Vintage 60’s Shimmery Bow Adorned Tear Drop Waist Fashions by Fifth Avenue Metallic Gold Lurex Cocktail Party Dinner Date Dress is beautiful! Intricately sewn with shimmery multi colored metallic lurex threading that creates a shimmery golden appearance. Sleeveless with fabric bows atop the shoulder straps, high scoop neckline in front, v shape neckline in back, an inverted waist with same fabric tear drop adornments and pinch pleating at the top of the skirt in front, and a zipper closure in back. Inside of dress has a Fashions by Fifth Avenue label which was from a fashion dress shop now known as the department store Saks Fifth Avenue. I have shown a couple of pictures of newspaper clipping 1967 that advertised Fashions by Fifth Avenue Dress Shops. Based on the spacing between the tear drops in front 2 or 3 may be missing. Hard to tell for sure. No other flaws to dress. Fabric content not stated. Dress is lined in satin. No size listed.
