Description: Good Condition. No damage to the painting. The gold frame shows dings that I will point out in my photographs. There is an information page attached to the back that is wrinkled. The back of the canvas is marked #2035-8-10 and "Chateau Frontenac Quebec Canada" and what appears to be a signature. The front of the painting is signed by Michel Mailhot. I have no real idea of the age of the painting. I believe it to be from the 1990s, but I have no provenance for the painting other than I acquired it in an estate auction that was mixed estates and it was not recognized as an important painting at that auction so it was grouped in with other artworks. The artwork in its frame measures 13 1/4 inches or 33.66 cm tall by 11 1/4 inches or 28.57 cm wide. The image inside the frame measures 9 3/8 inches or 23.8125 cm tall by 7 7/16 inches or 18.89 cm wide. Mr. Mailhot did not do a lot of impressionist paintings. I think he switched mediums and so these painting are hard to find but very well executed! The pictures in this listing are my own pictures and that is the actual item you will get. I don't steal other people's pictures or use stock photos. I store my items in sealed bins with charcoal to eliminate odors. We do combine shipping for multiple orders!
