Description: Vintage AKAI CS-50D Invert Auto-Reverse Tape Flip Cassette Deck - Read. I have had this for a while and have used it on occasion, it was (mostly) working until last week. I hit the manual reverse button and flipped the tape a few times, worked perfectly and was playing fine. I hit the flip button again and everything completely locked up. It is stuck in some weird mode, the power button will not even turn off the power to the unit. Power stays on even constantly whether power button is on or off but wont respond to anything. Could be an easy fix and seems like something is just stuck but who knows. This is a complicated machine, but very cool with the way it grabs the tape and flips it and reinserts it. When it was working, i had ran speakers out of the unit and it wasn't producing much sound out of the left channel. Have not tried to record on it. Any questions please ask
