Description: For sale is a vintage analog marine barometer made by Chelsea Clocks. The black phenolic case measures 5 3/4" across at the widest part of the base and 2 1/2" deep (3" if you include the knob on the brass pointer). It has a clean face and the case is not damaged but does show signs of use. It carries the "Boston" logo on its face and is stamped on the back with the Chelsea Clocks brand and was made in the factory in Chelsea, MA. It tracks changes in barometric pressure but is usually slightly below the official reading; this will not be as accurate as your phone, but it does change with the weather. There is a very slight crack in the glass but it is hard to see except at just the right angle. The angled close up photo shows it highlighted against the dark interior.
