Description: This listing is for a vintage Argus 538 portable slide projector that features a 4 inch F:3.5 lens. The lamp on this slide projector comes on, but the fan / motor only makes a slight humming noise when turned on, and the fan does not turn. With this in mind, this slide projector cannot be used until this is fixed, as the lamp heats up quickly and is very dangerous without the fan running. Because of this, I am selling this "AS IS" and am not responsible for any accidents that may occur with this item or items of this nature. This comes with everything shown in the photos including two power cords (I recommend using the thicker, more durable one), 4 slide magazines, and numerous slides along with a paper that explains what a number of them are. This is a great project for anyone who understands vintage electronics and knows how to repair these.
