It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine and is very clean. It is straight and round, not bent, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all. It is hallmarked on the inside with 14K, a sideways letter W, the registered trademark symbol and ARTCARVED, hallmark for historic and listed USA fine jewelry maker J.R. Wood & Sons of New York, which eventually became known simply as ArtCarved. We did perform a stone and acid test and it confirms 14K and was measured with a professional ring mandrel at a US Size 10. HISTORICAL FOOTNOTE: The last photo shown was taken from the US Patent and Trademark Office and completely documents this mark and maker.
