Description: Golden Age BC Rich Mockingbird in Tuxedo finish.This guitar was built during BC Rich' biggest influential period. An all original guitar including Neal Moser full Mockingbird electronics, Dimarzio pickups, Schaller West Germany tuners, Quad bridge, original tophat knobs.I am the 2nd owner and have the original receipt from the Paramus NJ Sam Ash where it was purchased. The top strap button appears to have been moved from the back to the top of the horn. There are some dings and scratches that would be expected from a well played guitar. Frets have some life left and are level. Also includes the original case shipped with the guitar when new.The electronics were tested, the boost, phase and coil taps, tone and boost volume all work fine. The Variatone switch I never really hear a big tonal change and never really used it. I do know it's tied to the boost. I am not sure if it functions as designed. The bridge has some pitting, I will include a NOS bridge bought from Kahler. I did not want to change any of the parts as originality with the provenance included is usually desired by collectors. The Variatone switch may just need some looking over as it is just caps and wires.This is an all original example of a pinnacle period in guitar manufacturers when Charvel, Jackson BC Rich and many others were all innovating incredible guitars.
