Vintage Cabbage Patch Soft Sculpture Xavier Roberts 22” U Doll Little People

Description: This is a very special full sized (approximately 22”) first edition Unsigned soft sculpture girl up for adoption! (1980/81) From the very first batch of babies that weren’t handsigned by Xavier Roberts but she does have the stamped black U signature on her tush. She’s an old girl with the 2nd body tag, notice how it doesn’t mention Cabbage Patch because she was made prior to the Coleco years. She came to me without any paperwork so the lucky new parent can name her as they choose! She has red yarn hair in braids, green eyes and freckles. She also has a single cheek dimple and her face is lightly pink all over which is unusual and cute. This little one had a bath from her previous parent because she was in played with condition. She’s quite fresh now but smells of cleaning agents for those sensitive to odors. She also has a loose finger thread on one hand. Her braids have minor pilling. She will come in these green corduroy overalls which I’m assuming aren’t original since the legs are too long but they’re still very cute. She also has a yellow Babyland T-shirt which may be original and a diaper. No shoes but does have yellow socks with lace. No holes or tears, slight staining left over after bath on arms and hands but barely noticeable now. I’m an adult collector with a smoke and pet free home and my babies are from my personal collection.
