Description: Vintage Commodore 64 Computer w/ Power Supply Original Box - Tested READ DESC. The computer has been tested as far as I can take it with the following findings: The computer powers on with the included power supply. The computer attempts to output to the monitor, but is a solid black screen with no sound. (Testing on a known working old television with a known working RF adapter.) Switching from channel 3 to channel 4 on the RF switch on the computer causes the screen to be black, but with some color static and no sound. The case has severe UV discoloration, but is free from major scratches or gouges. I removed the cover to find that the two clips on the end were broken off and the middle one, while hanging on, doesn't look too far from the same. I am including the two broken tabs for possible repair. The computer appears to have all of it's chips, RAM, and other components. I did not notice anything obvious that would cause the computer's issue of not booting or not outputting video. The capacitors all looked normal. It is likely due to chip failure(s) or a faulty RF modulator. The three screws on the bottom front have some issues as well. One side seems to screw in normally, the middle is mostly stripped and the other end is completely stripped. The keyboard looks to be in good shape and is intact. With the computer not booting up, I am unable to test any of the other components functionality or any of the functionality of the various other I/O on the computer. The computer is sold as-is with the only guarantee is that it will power on and that the power supply is functional. It will need repair to be fully functional. I did my best to describe the details of the issue so you can decide for yourself if it is within your repair ability. The computer will require a signature on delivery.
