Description: VINTAGE DRAFTING INSTRUMENTS SET 1957 ~ From Germany ~ Very Nice Condition VINTAGE DRAFTING INSTRUMENTS SET. This nice mostly German-made set contains 8 drafting instruments: two 3" bow compasses made by Dietzgen (measurement and pencil), and one labeled simply "Compass Germany" (also with two needles for measurement). The set has two 4½" dividers (measurement and pen & ink or pencil). One divider (Noris) has provision for a 3½" beam, so it can draw diameters up to 10". The set also has two ruling pens, two pens for the dividers, a lettering pen, a small kit of spare parts and a second small tube of 1" leads. A small screwdriver is missing, but any small or jeweler's screwdriver will work. (I might mention that the screwdriver is virtually never needed as it is only used to tighten the dividers in a fixed position.) This is about the nicest set this 85-year-old geezer has ever seen in this excellent condition (usually the case is falling apart, the ink pens are rusty, and parts are missing).
