Description: Beautiful & playful, vintage Eva Zeisel SMF Schramberg Germany yellow, geometric, hand painted ceramic vase in good used condition with some signs of use/wear. Top has a chip approximately 1.5 cm wide, as pictured. Slight wear to some other parts of vase. Inside has spots. Condition is actually quite good for its age. Eva Zeisel led a fascinating life & lived from 1906-2011. Eva believed in what she called "the playful search for beauty" and liked to call herself a maker of things, rather than an industrial designer. This hard to find vase is one of her early works from the late 1920s, so it is nearly antique. - Approximately 9" high- Top diameter approximately 3 3/4"- Bright yellow background- Brown, white, & black "eye" design- Vase is hand painted
