Description: This is a beautiful Favorite Piqua Dutch Oven Lid. It was stored for decades wrapped in plastic bags and heavily oiled. I used a dry paper towel to wipe it off, but I know nothing of the proper care for this old cast iron, so it will be still sticky with old grease and still has some spots in the pics. It has virtually no damage despite its age and will be the perfect piece to complete your dutch oven. My husband was given this for his boy scout troop from a very kind woman's estate, as they need extra cast iron for their camping cook-outs, but this is obviously too valuable to go over a campfire. I hope to use the funds raised by selling this to fund a new set that won't hurt my heart if they mess it up.
