Description: Original vintage Fiesta 15" Chop Plate with backstamp, made between 1937 and 1951 by Homer Laughlin Company. The bit chop plates were made on jiggering machines used to carve in the concentric rings; then the plates were set on sagger marks in the kiln, resulting on the three stilt marks in the glaze on the bottom of the plate. Backstamp reads "Genuine fiesta HLCo" and is correct for the era. This Fiestaware plate is very well-used and shows its age with scratches and pitting, dark marks and rubs. No cracks or breaks.
