Description: Vintage Franciscan Fine China in the Renaissance Grey pattern produced by Gladding McBean & Company in California USA. It was introduced as a Masterpiece China line in 1948 and was discontinued in 1981. These are individual pieces for sale and not a complete set however you could select enough pieces to make a set if you desire. This china showcases the intricate Grey Renaissance pattern which features white florals, leaves and scrollwork on a grey background on the border with a white background. The outer rim as well as a ring at the edge of the grey pattern are framed in gold gilding. These items were purchased at an estate sale and are vintage, perhaps used in another era, and may show signs of wear appropriate to their age. Upon close inspection, I found no chips, cracks or crazing on these pieces. No utensil marks were apparent to me. No fading or wear on the gold trim.
