Description: Vintage Globe Wernicke 3 Shelf w/Top Cap and Base Barrister Style BOOKCASE. Assembled size is 42" tall x 34" wide x 12" deep. Each individual shelf unit has a height of roughly 11". 2 drawers are rated Size D 8 1/2 Grade 199 and 1 drawer is rated Size D 8 1/2 Grade 299. Cap is 3.5" and base stands 7". GREAT CANDIDATE FOR RESTORATION! Shelving unit exteriors are in pretty good condition, but one metal door brace mechanism is missing and the others need some oil/parts/repairs, and interiors show some wear. Wood paneling on top cap has warping/damage but can be replaced. Bottom base is sturdy and in good shape. Old paper labels still attached, and all glass is intact and undamaged. Again, this would be a great unit for restoration, either as a fun do-it-yourself project or to be done professionally. PICK-UP ONLY in SKOKIE, IL, which is just north of Chicago, and only blocks away from Old Orchard Shopping Mall and the Edens Expressway (94).
