Description: Finely detailed gouache illustration painting on board of a farmyard scene after Albert Anker's "Young girl feeding hens". Some of the hens are embossed and feel slightly raised from the overall board. I inspected it out of the frame and could not find any signature. The brushstrokes and paint are visible under a magnifying glass when the piece is taken out of its frame. The framed and matted piece measures~ 17" long x 13 1/2" wide. In excellent condition. I did note some crackling of the paint on the cheek of the young girl. The frame has a few scuff marks/scratches/nicks. Wonderful artwork!
