To give you an idea, a shipping box, if it is not a free one from the Post Office, costs between $4 - $9. Bubble wrap costs $1 per foot and I usually use at least 3 or 4 feet or more for breakable items. Foam chips per box (book box size) will be between $8 - $10, and packing tape costs me $3 a small roll.
