Description: Vintage Hunter-Wilson Distilling Co "First Over the Bars" Figurine. I have tried to research this item and the best I can find is that it is from the 1940's to the 1950's. Educated guess. It measures roughly 13" tall, 14" long and 8" wide. It is made of some kind of cheap metal. It is in the natural state in which it was produced with only some age-related wear. Some paint has been dinged off and the area where it shows "First over the bars" has been blackened with some paint damge. It does not look like the figurine itself is damged. The reins are still as they were originally. A little ding to the tip of the tail. The pin holding the horse to the base is excellent and the horse does move a bit up and down a bit as if jumping over the bars. This is quite good. I would rate this as "Excellent. If you intend to paint it, this is a perfect specimen. If you wish more photos or have any questions please let me know. You will be buying this "AS IS".
