Description: This weaving has been in temperature controlled storage since it was purchased in June 1983. It was purchased in the village of Endeh in Flores, Indonesia. It has been beautifully coloured using organic dyes in rich tones of black, red, blue, orange and white. It is reluctantly being sold as part of a collection liquidation. It measures 132cm (4ft. 4 inches) long by 69cm (2ft. 3 inches) wide although the width could be doubled if the seam, making it a sarong, was unpicked.
