These are obviously an Antique item and show some age with the metal blades and the minor imperfections in the black painted handles. I found the Patent filed in 1932 and approved in 1934. 90 years old! These were my grandmothers and as a child were HUGE and even now seem so large. The blades are tight- meaning there is no warping or gaps when making its cut. I had to try it out on cardboard. Blades are removable for easy sharpening if needed.
