Description: Up for sale, a vintage Takamine Japan C134S classical guitar. Sadly, this guitar has likely received some sort of impact which detached the bridge and also cracked the top in a couple of places. I don't know the history, sorry. At this stage, the top cracks will need to be repaired and the bridge will need to be re-glued. It does not appear anyone has made any attempts at repair so if you are a skilled luthier it will probably go back together properly and look good. I do note that someone has removed the strap buttons and filled the holes. Not sure if this had strap buttons originally but it looks like it had them somewhere in its life. This guy is probably 40 years of age so no telling. Neck appears okay though I'm offering a layman's opinion and not a professionals. I do see one larger scratch (pictured) on the back of the neck near the heal. Neck, frets, headstock, and tuning keys otherwise appear decent. The fretboard at the top has some wear into the wood and the frets show some wear so this thing got some play time somewhere along the way. This came to me in a horrible chipboard case, I'll try to find something better for safe shipping. Sold AS-IS and for REPAIR only. A comparable new Takamine C132S will run you nearly $2k today.
