Description: Vintage "Jonah and the Whale" Pewter/Lead Dollhouse Miniature 1" Hand painted This is a 1:12 scale reproduction of the original still bank "Jonah and the Whale" depicting Jonah in his boat, about to be swallowed by the whale. The bank was made in the 1890's. This is NOT a bank; it is a replica of it. It is .5" tall and 1" long, and very meticulously painted! On the side of the piece the words "Jonah and the Whale" can be read. Some wear to the paint. Signed on the bottom, C in a circle, dated '84 PA. Part of an avid dollhouse collector's estate.
