Description: Vintage, Kuchi tribal beaded gul patch. "Gul" means "flower" in Dari. This is a traditional tribal patch worn by the Kuchi nomadic tribes of Afghanistan and Pakistan. It has been removed from a dress or textile so there is visible backing along the edges and some missing beads between petals - shown in photos. Small reflective surface in the center. Dusty crevices, visible stitching and a handmade appearance. About 4" wide. Please refer to photos for scale. Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
