Description: I purchased this from retired Ky state trooper who told me he was member of DEA strike force 1980 who laid out in marijuana patches in eastern Ky to arrest people who came to patch to care for crop. He said DEA required them to wear department uniform. He told me the troopers he worked with dyed the glow in the dark patches green and sewed them back onto uniform. This is an official vintage patch that was dyed (altered) green and reapplied to uniform in late 1970’s early 1980’s. Look at photo good before purchase, this is what you get. I purchased several of these almost 20 yrs ago some some show more wear, darker than others ECT. I photo each patch as I list them for sale.
