Description: Hi This listing includes a pair of Vintage MacGregor steel shafted golf clubs. A driver that is 44" in length with approximately 11* of loft and a Fairway wood that is 43" in length and approximately 14* of loft. These are really display clubs only as they were in very rough shape when I got them. The clubs are from MacGregors six spot line and they originally came with Ivory insets for the spots on the face. On the driver someone had removed the ivory so I filled those spots with epoxy. The Fairway wood still has the original ivory insets. Both clubs needed grips and end caps and I was able to replace them with authentic leather MacGregor grips and end caps from the era. They are not the correct color code for the club but are authentic MacGregor. The steel shafts are in good condition and I applied a fresh coat of paint. New whipping. These are truly clubs that no one else would have bothered restoring and I feel I saved them from the trash pile. Nice looking club now and I fell would make vintage golf display pieces.
