Description: A beautiful Madonna and Child Jesus Icon / Plaque that has it's original paint! From the pictures you may think it's made from plaster of Paris, but it is not. It's made from what appears to be a molded wood pulp and is quite light weighing approx. 15 oz. It measures approx.: 7" wide x 10-1/8 long. The muted colors of beige, brown and gold go beautifully with the blue of the robes of Jesus and Mary as he extends a rosary to his mother who looks at him contemplatively. The back side does have a signature, possibly of the artist who made it. There is also a hanger imbedded into the piece for easy wall hanging!
