Description: Lovely vintage majolica biscuit/cookier jar from Japan. Blue basketweave outside bottom with colorful berries and green leaves outside top and lid top. Wicker wrapped handle. Partial stamp on the bottom---can make out Japan. 8 1/4" tall including handle, 5 5/8" long, and 4 1/2" front-to-back. It is in very good condition---no chips/nicks/cracks, but it does have crazing. Lid is secured tightly with handle--will not easily fall off and break. Probably from the 1940's of 1950's. Great piece!
