VINTAGE METAL INDUSTRIAL MULTI-PANE WINDOWS [12 available]

Description: Offered for consideration is a metal multi-pane casement window. While only a single is being offered for sale in this listing, 11 identical windows are also available for sale. This window dates, I estimate, to the 1940's or 1950's. It is comprised of 6 window pane openings that measure 12" wide x 18" high. The overall size [outside edge to outside edge] is 41 1/4" in width x 40" in height. What makes this particular window frame unusual is the feature that both the bottom 3 windows as well as the top 3 windows have the capacity to swing open [see these features in the photo array]. Both window sections open from the front of the window; with the bottom 3 pane section is secured by 2 latches that are pivoted to release and secure the window. {To latch these windows from the inside would require that you add latching fittings to the backside of the frames.} There are no glass panes in these frames. While the frame[s] are structurally sound, there is rust and some pitting to the entire surface of this [and all] window[s]. Restoration should include a media blasting to the frame and application of primer and top coats.The last image in the photo array shows an example of what a frame looks like after it has been blasted and had the old painted surface removed.
