Description: This wonderful musical jewelry box is the shape of a 1960's television set. The box is lacquered in black 2 bands of mother of pearl, one above and one below the dancers. The sides have bamboo leaves etched into the wood and lacquer while the lid is adorned with more mother of pearl with an etching of 2 birds. The music box plays and the dancers dance to Somewhere My Love (Lara's Theme) from Dr. Zhivago (1965) The light does not work. The battery drawer shows signs of an overheating issue. (See last picture) The jewelry box has a stain which I have not attempted to clean. Please be sure to review all the pictures to see where the lacquer is chipped. I'm happy to answer any questions or provide additional pictures
