They are made of cream/beige glazed ceramic, with tiny gray/black flecks and a beautiful print of blue daisies, with green and brown leaves and stems on the surface of the plates. The rims have brown borders, with scalloped edges. The plates measure approximately 8 inches in diameter and 1- inches high. They were made in Japan.
