Description: Vintage Minton ‘Ancestral’ S-376 Bone China Dinnerware. Pattern Description: Bone China, Fife, Newer Wreath Backstamp, Burgundy Floral, Red & Blue Flowers, Scalloped Edge with Gold Metallic Trim. Made in England. This pattern is discontinued. It was active from circa 1951 until 1991. Maker's Mark: The Minton's Maker's Mark on these pieces is the newer Wreath backstamp with "MINTON" (not plural as "Mintons") and "Founded 1793" (not "Est'd 1793"). This mark has been used from ca. 1951 until the present day. Some items have impressed marks from the 1960's. Condition: Excellent Plus condition for the age. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Great shine on all the pieces, and the gold trim shows very little wear, if any. Expect light shelf wear and light utensil marks as these pieces are at least 30 years old. See photos.
