Description: Vintage MSA Approved Miners Hat. USED string suspension liner still in hat but in poor shape. hat has NO breaks or cracks that I can see. has holes in it to help keep person wearing it cool. I think it is from the late 1930's to the mid 1940's time . this hat has a thin layer of metal built into the hat. can not been seen but a magnet will stick to the top of hat as seen in picture # 8 . some call this the Tiger stripe design. some call it fiberglass. size 7 1/4 .shipped well protected. please look at pictures closely.
