Description: This vintage Jupiter-2 lantern, in the rare blue color, is truly a barn find. It had obviously been sitting on the shelf for years, as it had so much dirt and grime on it that the name and color were almost unrecognizable. It cleaned up very nicely, and is in very good original condition, with no dents or bends, and all the functions work as they should. It could use a little more cleaning, if desired. It has a tiny bit of surface rust, mostly on the handles where some of the blue paint has come off. It has very minor finish loss, and has its original filler cap and wick. The filler cap and inside of the fount are very clean. The fount is marked "Jupiter-2, Made In Poland", with "Jupiter" on the filler cap. The burner is brass. The lantern measures 12-1/2" tall, with a 5-1/8" diameter base, and it weighs 1 lb., 6 oz. Please let the pics be your guide when bidding, as they are a major part of the description.
