Description: This is a vintage kindling/coal scuttle box by Peerage Brass of England. The box is in excellent condition and still has its original Peerage sticker on the top. The box is wood clad in repousse-embossed brass and measures about 18" x 12" x 12". The top has a street scene of an 18th Century English village inn, and the front scene is a traveling party stopping and going into the pub. The ends are a hammered brass finish. The hinges are still strong and the wood is also in good condition. Please note that the photos are considered to be part of my description!
