Vintage Pepsi Cola Pepsi Swirled Glass 10oz Bottle Click images to enlarge Description This bottle was recently acquired at an estate auction of a longtime collector in Western Illinois. It is appealing, desirable & collectible. Pepsi was first invented in 1893 as "Brad's Drink" by Caleb Bradham, who sold the drink at his drugstore in New Bern, North Carolina. It was renamed Pepsi-Cola 1898. Pepsi because it was advertised to relieve dyspepsia; commonly known as indigestion and cola referring to the cola flavor. We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made by us. It was only dusted off for photos. This vintage bottle shows wear which is shown in the photos. There are no chips or cracks. These issues do not detract from its overall appeal & desirability.
