Description: This is a vintage red cinnabar lacquer box. It is signed on the bottom “Shina”. It measures 5-1/2” x 4” x 2-1/4”. The inside is black lacquer. The scene has trees, a pagoda, a path to a gate, some men. There is a designed all around the outside of both the top and bottom of the box. This belonged to my mother, therefore, I don’t know much about it other than what I can see. I believe it is from the 1940's. It is in excellent condition. It is time to downsize. I am not a dealer. I have tried to give a good description. However, if you have questions, please ask before purchasing as all sales are Final. All items are sold as is. There are no returns, exchanges and/or refunds.
